The Northeast LA Chapter of the American Red Cross provides
health and safety training that equips individuals with
lifesaving skills. Our health and safety programs include
such topics as Aquatic programs, Babysitter Training,
Pet First Aid, HIV/AIDS education, CPR, First Aid, the
use of an Automated External Defibrillator and many more.
Beyond training, health and safety volunteers provide
first aid support at area events, attend health fairs
representing the Red Cross and make community presentations
to local groups-reaching hundreds of people every year

- General caregiving skills
